Collection: Dune Forest

In coastal and inland sand deposits, or dune systems, sand moves constantly — carried, lifted, and redeposited by air currents. At a certain point called an ecotone (transition zone), grasses take root first. Their roots stabilize and enrich the surface. Shrubs follow. Over time, the forest grows where the ground can hold. Who this collection is for: Roots before branching. You appreciate those who have gone before. You don't assume you already know, which makes you zealous for knowledge. (Humility)
