Collection: Umbra Phase

During a total lunar eclipse, Earth moves directly between the Sun and the Moon, and the Moon enters the umbra — the darkest central region of Earth’s shadow. Yet the Moon does not go completely dark. Sunlight passing through Earth’s atmosphere is filtered and bent into the shadow, with shorter wavelengths scattered away and longer red wavelengths continuing through. This red light softly illuminates and reflects off the Moon’s surface, even within the umbra. Who this collection is for: Your network isn't strategic.
